Skull drawings

These skull drawings are associated with the Guerilla zoo exhibition on 19th August 2006.
The skull is made of resin, hinges at the jaw and was made in China. I found drawing the skull was best from an angle rather than head-on. Catching the features at an angle means that there's no need to worry about symmetry and you can concentrate on the outline and silhouette of the skull.

The Guerilla zoo exhibition had the theme of 'Dead heads' a name given to fans of the Grateful dead.
