Cardboard
Arrows have evolved to give further life to Number Banners.
These arrows create rules that must be obeyed by objects
placed near or on them, in return for this restriction Number
banners and other objects are animated and gain a life that
has the added dimension of potential movement |
For
an object to utilise a cardboard arrow set-up it must
follow the rules; an object must travel in the direction
the arrow(s) point(s), an object must not stray too
far from the arrows and an object cannot decide when
to start and stop its path - so long as a path exists
an object must follow that path.
Arrow set-ups are used by both the viewer and the
artist in an imaginary way to produce 'potential'
movement. |
